The outcomes of this article will certainly be very informative and helpful for people suffering from osteoporosis and for their physicians in establishing new lines of treatment. After reading the article however, some questions did cross my mind. Actually many researchers believe that acidosis or body over-acidity may be the leading cause of most degenerative chronic diseases, osteoporosis included. Acidosis seems to cause a general and progressive decline of our body vital functions: our metabolism, physiology and immune system. That is why people suffering from a given chronic disease develop over time a series of other diseases. In the scientific literature osteoporosis for instance is often associated with cancer, arthritis, diabetes, eye problems. For that reason we should be very careful when establishing a cause-to-effect relationship between a chronic disease and its medication. In the study of osteoporosis presented here I wonder if the researchers did compare their results to a placebo population! Thanks
