Found the following company Zymo Research. Their Z-competency E. coli transformation kit is the total bomb. We routinely get higher transformation rates than our own Maniatis-derived transformation protocols. Plus, with this kit, you don't need to worry about arc'ing or heat shocking your cells. If you do a lot of transformations, this is one of the kits to look out for.
