I'm a scientist with Gene Tools, LLC. I bike and camp and study Mandarin for fun. I somehow turned an environmental science degree into a career in biotech. Now I design Morpholino oligos, advise on use of Morpholinos, troubleshoot Morpholino experiments, and try to find new applications for the oligos. Not surprisingly, I'm likely to post about Morpholinos -- they are what I do on weekdays (I might also post about installing appliances, tending a veggie garden or painting interior walls, which is stuff I do on weekends when not shuttling daughters to birthday parties or swim meets). And, every few years I go to China for a month and stop all posting (no distractions please, it's time for bai jiu and hot pot. Mmmmmmm, hot pot).
