Just did a second test. Let the blog sit for 4 hrs, clicked submit, it yelled at me, logged back in and all of the data was restored :) Yeay!

Dr. Becca wrote a blog post yesterday and lost everything she had written. This should never happen and I know David had an issue with this once before. I woke up early this morning to take care of this for good. Now when you submit your blog, the first thing that happens is that your Title, Summary, and Text are all stored in a cookie on YOUR computer. Before, all of the data was handled by server side sessions. If the server didn't get a request from you for 30 minutes, it thought you left and deleted your session. Theoretically, once you submit your blog, a new session should start and your data should be saved in a new session and restored once you log back in, but obviously that wasn't happening!

If you ever write a blog entry, submit, and the website tells you that you aren't logged in, DO NOT CLOSE YOUR BROWSER. Log back in immediately, and try writing a new blog. All of your data should be restored.

Again, I'm really really sorry that two of you had to lose your blog entries before I fixed this. Please don't hate me :(

I have tested this already this morning and it worked great. I have also increased the server session time from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Please let me know if you have any more issues!
