Up! Repairman, just set the category to Music for all of your Music posts. If you don't set a "Preview Image" the script tries to find the youtube thumbnail image for you :)

Anyone can post to the "Music" category and have the link dumped into that spot on the main page. The Music posts are removed from the blog feed on the main page, but are still included on the Blogs page.

Hey I'm cool with posting in the music section. Just let me know where to throw down my beats and I'll do it. And I completely understand about trying to preserve Labspaces as a place for science. I think the guest DJ idea is great too.

I came up with this awesome idea in the shower today, ok, maybe I just think its awesome, but I want to know what you guys think. I want to keep the blog feed as science related as possible, but I love all of the music stuff Genome Repairman is putting up too. Music is a huge part of keeping my sanity in lab. How about I give him his own section in the "Video" area below Joanne's Science Corner where he can post all of his music videos and playlists. He can be LabSpaces' resident DJ. Let me know what you all think and I'll make a new music category just for the Repairman :)
