Mocha

I knew that title would get your attention.

Just can't resist an expensive, sugar-laden coffee drink, can you?

Hopefully you haven't had to resist syphilis...

I just spit coffee onto my keyboard (it was not a caramel mocha, and I will run home). You rock. That is all.

Save your ass from that mocha and some kids from the syphillus.

I think DonorsChoose might have a new slogan Tongue out

This is very excellent. I may just have to make a movie-thing myself, in which I have awesome hair.

Gosh but I don't think anyone on twitter has ever typed the word "syphilis" more in one day than I have today. Since you're not on there, thought I'd share this LOL, inspired by you.

Love the title!! Also, really stoked about the return of the nipple shirt.

I was wondering if those were nipples!

I am so jealous of your movie-making-awesome-hairdo-avatar self. I would try it myself, but I would just fall short by comparison. As I mentioned before, you rock.

@antipodean:

Alright smart-arse, so I can't spell syphilis. I've corrected it. Now, for being such a smart-arse (and using an LOL cats avatar) I'm expecting an especially large donation to Donors Choose from you.

@Nikkilina and G-Z:

They're not nipples! Just very badly placed buttons. They do chafe the nipples...

@Dr. Becca:

Thanks! I don't do the Twitter thing, so it's much appreciated.

@G-Z and Dr. Becca:

Making the movie isn't that hard. Probably the hardest part is getting the computer-generated voice to pronounce things correctly - some words have to spelled out phonetically.

@Everyone:

Thanks!

Hey that me ^ Not syphilis guy, but that tweet. :-)

Definitely look like nipples and belly-button. Is that one of those painted on outfits that the models wear? Sex sells...

well, not sex with syph in the ad.

I will NOT be held responsible for giving little kids syphilis. Donor's choose schools are all public schools right, not Catholic ones?

@becca:

My understanding is that they're all public schools.

@becca @Odyssey: it is also my understanding that they are all public schools in low-income areas.

@Jason Goldman well, the poverty level of the school (defined as % of kids qualifying for free /reduced lunch) is given as info with the projects; the majority of projects are needy kids in that sense, but not necessarily all. Though it looks like 2/3 of the ones in the supplied link are 'high poverty', and the other one is just 'data unavailable'.

But yes, they are public schools (though I think some are charter schools).

None of which should have anything to do with syphilis.

Unless they're using a broken coke bottle for a microscope.
