Hallelujah. This will be a boon to all in the IBS community if it translates to humans. Especially if it means fewer colonoscopies.

My friend has IBS, and she has to go to a lot of trouble just to have a somewhat normal life. She's really careful about what she eats, but she also has to take meds to keep everything in line.

Very clever.  I wonder how you determine dosing for this type of treatment and are there risks of over dosing patients that is not easily reversible.  My knowledge of siRNA is pretty sparse so I don't have a good feel for these kinds of issues.
