Brian, I don't mind being on the top of the blog page when my entry first goes live, but it really does start to push everyone else down to the point where I think people won't scroll down to see who else has posted recently. Perhaps you can shorten the amount of text that is displayed for each entry on the front page for the Blogs?

Sure, what do you think it should be?  Half as long?

Yeah, that would probably work well.

Yes, definitely less scrolling.

Looks better and much faster to scroll through than before.  Two thumbs up here.

I'm pretty sure the blog front page is on the list for the next re-design.  I need to get started on these back logged projects

Hi Brian,

I was thinking I would like the same change on my blog main page- that is to shorten how much of the article appears before clicking "more". I'd like to make it so people can see more of the titles without having to scroll so much. Could you shorten the break on my page?

I think only the first paragraph in each post is enough.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks!

I think shorter is better too.  I changed it back when the others said they wished the pages looked more like wordpress which posts the entire article.

Can we manually add in the "more after the break" thing?  Then, it'll either use the default or the manual add, whichever comes first?

Sure, I'll put that on my todo list.  It should be pretty easy to implement something like that
