I was messing with my blog and now I have a stupid banner that I can't remove. Make it go away

Can you go to "Blog" and "Edit Blog Settings" and then just replace it with something else that is smaller, for right now?
I think I would open this banner you want to use n Paint and then crop it and save it as a jpg.
Or you can open in Microsoft Office Picture Manager and then edit the picture- you can re-size it.

This one is 612 x 200 exactly the size of mine.
You can re-size much easier in Photobucket than in Microsoft windows
