Would it be possible to have a streamlined LabSpaces for mobile applications? As a BlackBerry user, the browser on the BB chokes at anything over 256Kb. I MAY be able to increase it to 1024Kb but that is the maximum. Even a site without images might be enough to make it navigable for me. I won't ever blog from my BB, but it'd be nice to interact with users (commenting, etc) while I am on the road.

Thanks.

Wow, that's low.  So pretty much no images.  There really isn't anything else to strip out other than the javascript.

Get an iPhone, dude! I have no troubles doing the LabSpaces when out and about!

I seriously hope that's not my only viable option. If I were to get anything else, I would get a Droid, but work provides me my BB and as such costs me considerably less. Since I can argue that LabSpaces does assist me in my work (in particular the protocols page), buying another phone (and they're not cheap) to do what I can already do for free seems ... insane.

Becca, Gerty said she has trouble on her iPhone.  Maybe she can stop by and tell me what she'd like improved too.  I do lots of stuff from my droid and haven't had any problems.  Other than the text editor not loading, but I switched to the lgacy commenting system for mobile phones

TJ, if you are in the market for a new phone, get a Droid.  The Verizon network rocks for 3G and all of the latest generation Android phones have Flash 10 support.

BUT that's not a solution for everyone ;)

TJ, it is not insane to pay for something if what you are getting for free is not fulfilling your needs!

LOL, come on Becca. Leave the low hanging fruit alone!  That had so many possibilities

The BB works stellar in all other applications. It's just getting to LabSpaces which is currently giving me fits. Plus, everything else I get for free is suiting me just fine. :P

I don't have issues with LabSpaces on my iPhone. Of course G-Z has earned the "hacker" badge...

I have an HTC Android (Evo) that works really well...cost a lot less than the iPhone, too. :)

I can't ever seem to log in to LS from the iPhone, so no comments, etc. And then I get afraid it will think I'm a bot. Or that my hidden and uncontrollable hacking skills will kick in. So mostly I just avoid it.

I don't think that is very helpful...maybe you should just ignore my bitching.
