Started a new thread because Geeka complaoned :P

Here's a link to BB's original idea post:

http://www.labspaces.net/blog/369/Give_us_something_to_talk_about

I like the "First paper influential to your science (or you can post on your first paper)"

Any other ideas?

Jason thinks we should do a "weirdest thing ever seen in lab" post sometime so he can talk about sexing chickens.

Given unlimited resources how would you improve science literacy / improve that state of scientific communication ?

Perhaps we could Research Blog the first paper which influenced us.

What day would this be? If it's not in the calendar, I'll never remember. I think I know which paper I'd like to blog on...will have to go look it up.

I don't know if I will have access to the paper I want to do, but if I send a link to someone, can you send me the pdf? Any takers?

If it's in a biomed journal, I should have access, Geeka!

Geeka,

If you can let me know what paper you want, I can check to see if I can get it for you.

It seems December has been decided, but can I thow out an idea for January?

I don't know who's been following the whole creationist theme-park saga (see pharyngula), but I'd like to suggest, for january, 'what would your science theme park look like'.

Ohhh, that's an awesome topic, Rift.  In my bedroom back home, my mom still has this poster I made for a 4th grade project detailing what my dream theme park would be all about.  It was called thrill land :P  I'll take a pic and post it here when I go back for the holidays.
