I sent out a google doc list of bloggers that I think are interesting. This isn't a list of people I want NOW. It's just a list I may update from time to time to keep an eye out for new talent. I gave you all access so you can add people to it too and we can discuss them if some hot commodity comes on the market.

Some of you may be worried about my 50 number. It's just a number. I don't want to add 28 bloggers ASAP. That's just the LIMIT I'd like to stay under. I'm really happy with the community we have now, but that doesn't mean we should close our doors and not keep an eye out for other good people!

I don't think the page needs another redesign. The blogs have the biggest section on the main page and half of the right column in the first "Page View." I'd be game for adding more categories or lists to "The Writer's" section or even a blog page redesign/reorganization, but I'm happy with the main page.

I also don't like Scientopia's dropdown box. That's great if you know what blog you're looking for, but it does nothing to show people details about the other bloggers on the site. If the point of joining a network is increasing exposure and voice, then hiding blog names and other information in a dropdown box is not the way to go.
