Hey all,
Here's the link to (trial) episode two of the proposed podcast.
The editing is a touch rough, and I was a little tipsy at the start ;) but I think it's a pretty tight episode. There's some product notes here at: www.psycho-babble.net
Good job dude, sounds good. I actually liked the 1st ep better, not sure why, could just be me. Maybe it was the topic. I thought maybe this one was more informal, while the 1st ep sounded a bit more professional to me. I could be wrong, I dunno, maybe Im just more tired today. I love the idea though, sound quality was great, you did a really good job of steering the convo while going on what they answered. Im a fan.
That's good to know. We made a few conscious changes in this episode, but none that might explain 'less formal'. It may have been the topic itself - given that it's so accessible that everyone can have an opinion, we may have mixed up the science with a little more opinion. Ill keep an eye on it for the third and final trial.
I haven't had time to listen to this yet. I'll take a listen tomorrow if I get some time. I'm excited for it though. The first ep was great.
Just got done listening. This was a good EP, I actually think I liked it better than the first one because I made it through all of the way to the end. When are you going to start releasing these officially?
We're doing our third 'trial' ep this monday coming (1 week). I'm introducing a new guy to the line-up. If it goes well, I'll hold it in reserve to release next year when we start publishing proper.
But to answer you question directly, we'll finish this third recording, and beginning releasing early/mid Jan. Though, as I said, we may release this third one in Feb some time, as part of the series proper.
Any suggestion you might make?
Are you shooting for twice a month? It really depends on what you want to do. Of course the more content you put out the better your exposure potential (as long as it's high quality!).
I think you need to fade out the intro music more or faster. It was kind of hard to hear you talking about it. I had a colorblind friend and he said he could not distinguish red on green, but if Red was on top of another color it looked gray. So for that teacher chalkboard scenario, I think if it was a green board with red chalk he might not be able to read the words ;)
