Jade says she's having a lot of trouble sticking videos into her posts.  Is anyone else having trouble with this?  It works fine for me, both with <iframe> and <object> videos.  I use firefox and chrome though, are there any other IE posters out there?

I'm using Firefox and Chrome too, and no issues. I'll put together another SMS in IE and see if it gives me fits.

I got it to work, but only when I added the youtube embed code in by clicking on the HTML button first in the WYSIWYG menu above. Otherwise, when I pasted it in, it hotlinked the URL which essentially gave me a link within the link and resulted in a "Page Not Found".

Maybe I'll try firefox next time. I can't view the videos in firefox because it says I need additional plug-ins, but then when I try to download the plug-ins, I can't.

But I might be able to insert the video easier using firefox and then view it on IE. I think I am using IE8. Should I use something else?

It works in IE7 which I am using, you just have to click on the HTML button above in the WYSIWYG menu, copy/paste the code into that box, and then click "insert". You should actually then see the video in the text box. Click save and you'll be good to go.

Jade, for whatever reason, IE is automatically converting the source links to hyperlinks.  When you past in a video, you will notice the http://www.youtube.com/blahblahblah is underlined.  Click on that text and then click on the "Unlink" button in the menu above.  It looks like a chain link being split in two.  Everything should work fine after that.  I'll see if I can figure out a way to turn off the autoactivation of hyperlinks in IE

You can also right click the underlined part and select unlink.

You're so smart, Evie.  That's way easier.

I just wanted to let you know, using google chrome solved the problem. It works as it should. IE8 was the problem.
