Thank you for bringing a knife (decent tunes) to a knife fight, your other competitors brought twigs (fucking ear pollution).

Just don't default to Belle and Sebastian. I can't stand that group and they always get played on my pandora station.

Absolutely no danger of that happening. Ever.

Since we're doing some old Oz rock, how about some Jimmy Barnes and Cold Chisel? Not the best sound quality, but still, it's Cold Chisel.

Haha - out of the southern hemisphere bands listed above, I think I saw almost all of them (or their front men as solo acts) at some point or other while I was at high school. The only ones missing above are INXS, Mentals and Models. Sigh. I feel old.

Hahaha - Countdown was a ritual on ?Sunday nights in our house. The parents were not so impressed.

Huge fan of the Mentals and totally jealous that you had a beer with Martin Plaza. I think I saw them live 7 or 8 times over a 4 or 5 year period way back when - I think my sister saw them a couple of years ago when they were touring for a reunion thingy. And I love that Greedy is actually pretending to play that gigantic euphonium or whatever the hell it is in the video.
