Along the lines of keeping good posts from getting lost in the buzz, I was wondering what people might think about roundup posts. I think they're definitely great for "theme days" like Tuesday's Work-Life balance mini-carnival (which
DrugMonkey did threw together). But I was thinking that a weekly or semi-weekly roundup post might be useful too. Right now, I have more time to read and comment on blogs, but typically I do much of my reading/commenting on weekends and can end up overlooking or forgetting good posts from earlier in the week. With the amount of content being generated in a week, having a end of week post that provides a brief summary (with links, of course) of what we're discussing might pull some more people into the conversations. It could also be a good opportunity to connect to other bloggers outside LabSpaces who are posting on similar topics. We could also bring some of the most commented news stories into the mix, as well.
If there's any interest among the bloggers and the readers, I would be willing to put some summary posts together over the next few weeks, to give the idea a test drive, so to speak. What do you think? Yeah or nay?
